There is a deposit of refundable $100 to book a picture day. The fee is refunded on the day after the session. This fee is to hold and book the day and time. If session is canceled the fee is used to compensate for the loss of time and resources.

Of course not! The way it works is this: I take the photos. Soon after, the proofs become available in an online viewing gallery. You look them over and fall in love, or don't. If you love them, you can purchase a package. If you don't, no biggie. I promise.
